PKRA BRASIL WORLD TOUR

The PKRA Brasil World Tour took place at Praia do Coqueiro in Parnaiba, Piauí, Brasil from 23 to 29 September 2008. The event brought together top international riders competing at one of Brazil's premier kitesurfing destinations.

Praia do Coqueiro is known for consistent trade winds and flat-water lagoons, making it a favoured stop on the world tour circuit. The competition featured both freestyle and course-racing disciplines across multiple days of action.

Slingshot Kiteboarding introduced the Turbo 3 kites for the 2008 season, featuring a delta-style canopy and leading-edge configuration. The four-line setup offered improved stability and relaunch characteristics compared to earlier models.

Underground Kiteboards launched the FLX Board range in 2008, with sizes spanning from 124×37 cm up to 148×43 cm. The line-up catered to riders of different weights and styles, from lighter freestyle-oriented boards to larger models suited for powered conditions.
